John Mooney, the Ireland allrounder, has been suspended for three matches by Cricket Ireland after posting an insensitive tweet about the death of former British prime minister Margaret Thatcher.Mooney, 31 and from Dublin, tweeted following Baroness Thatcher’s death on April 8 that he hoped her demise was “slow and painful” before quickly deleting the tweet and issuing an apology for causing offence.Cricket Ireland’s chief executive, Warren Deutrom, described the comments as “crass, insensitive and offensive” and Mooney was found to be in breach of his central contract, which prohibits public statements that “denigrate, are derogatory, or prejudicial to the interests of cricket; or are of a nature which brings the game of cricket or Cricket Ireland into disrepute”.Mooney, who has scored 709 runs at 24.44 and taken 34 wickets at 28.55 in 45 ODIs, will now miss Leinster’s inter-provincial matches against Northern on May 6 and North-West on May 14-16 as well as Ireland’s first ODI against Pakistan on May 23. He will be available again for the second ODI on May 26.”John accepted that the tweet was offensive and inappropriate,” Deutrom said. “We took into consideration the fact that he issued a fulsome and swift apology and that he is genuinely remorseful for his action. However, given the breach of his contract and nature of the tweet, we felt it appropriate that a three match sanction be imposed. We have also severely reprimanded John and reminded him of his duties and responsibilities as a high profile international cricketer.”Mooney played for Ireland at the 2007 and 2011 World Cups and hit the winning runs in the famous chase against England. He was also named Ireland player of the year in 2010.

Not unless they have real mist in them.With the Yorkshire public so far playing hard to get, and indicating that they might turn up on the day if the weather’s nice, it is not yet certain that the Headingley public will show enough support to drill a hole into Yorkshire’s £19m debt.This is the county that parades its love of cricket like no other, but when it comes to England they can never entirely be trusted. The forecast is dry – perhaps even sunny – for the first three days, England have just bowled out New Zealand for 68, and alongside Root, Yorkshire will have another local boy with a point to prove in Jonny Bairstow.Then again, Tim Bresnan is not certain to play. That might be a reason to look elsewhere. Nesta segunda-feira, o amigo do atleta, Lucas Mineiro relatou à Polícia Civil, de São José dos Pinhais, que Cristiana e Allana Brittes não participaram da morte e afirmou que estavam apavoradas. A informação foi publicada primeiramente pelo “Uol”.

Vale relembrar que Cristiana, mulher de Edison Brittes, que confessou que degolou o atleta e cortou seu pênis, alegando que Daniel abusou de mulher. E Allana Brittes, de 18 anos, era aniversariante no dia 27 de outubro de 2018 e todos estavam em sua casa.

Voltando ao depoimento, Jacob Filho, que é advogado da testemunha, afirmou que Lucas Mineiro repetiu o que já havia sido dito anteriormente. Além disso, afirmou que recebeu ameaças de morte pelas redes sociais.

– Ele relatou o que viu, como foram as agressões, quem foi que agrediu, as pessoas que ele viu agredindo. Ele excluiu das agressões a Allana e a Cristiana, falou que elas estavam apavoradas – disse.

– Três dias depois aconteceram via Facebook para a mãe dele. As ameaças eram dizendo que, assim que ele pisasse em São José dos Pinhais, ele morreria. Por isso ele mudou de cidade e agora vive até em outro Estado – esclareceu Jacob.

Além disso, segundo o advogado, houve gritos de socorro no quarto de Edison e Cristiana para que alguém ajudassem Daniel.

– Ele deixou claro que ouviu gritos de socorro partindo de Cristiana. O que ele interpreta é que seria para ajudar o Daniel, porque ele não viu a cena no quarto, ele deduz. Ela dizia ‘socorro, socorro porque senão vai acontecer uma tragédia – relatou o advogado.

A partir deste momento, as pessoas envolvidades no caso prestarão depoimento à Polícia Civil para esclarecer o caso do jogador, que foi brutalmente assassinado.

In came Dhoni with the asking rate past eight and only five wickets in hand.Hussey regained his orange cap, but his innings was never fluent. Lasith Malinga’s over to him was striking as the bouncers did Hussey in with both the slowness and then pace.
