O Palmeiras finalizou na manhã deste sábado os preparativos para o clássico contra o Santos, domingo, às 17h (de Brasília), no Allianz Parque. Sem a presença de jornalistas, Roger primeiro dividiu o grupo por posições para trabalhar fundamentos e depois os atletas foram liberados para um rachão.

O treinador deve escalar a seguinte equipe no confronto da quinta rodada do Paulista: Jailson; Marcos Rocha, Antônio Carlos, Thiago Martins e Victor Luis; Felipe Melo, Tchê Tchê e Lucas Lima; Willian, Dudu e Borja.

Este será o reencontro de Lucas Lima com o Santos, equipe que defendeu entre 2014 e 2017 e saiu em baixa. No Verdão, ele tem sido um dos principais jogadores nesta sequência com 100% de aproveitamento, tanto que fez um gol e deu duas assistências.

Gustavo Scarpa, contratado há pouco mais de duas semanas, deve ficar no banco de reservas do Palmeiras pela primeira vez.

Edu Dracena, após uma pré-temporada mais longa, fez trabalhos físicos nesta manhã e ainda não está à disposição. Seguem fora: Jean (recuperando-se de uma artroscopia no joelho direito), Diogo Barbosa (com uma entorse no tornozelo esquerdo) e Deyverson (fissura no pé direito). Taking to Twitter, the 90min insider says Man City are now closer to agreeing a new deal for the 21-year-old.

“Man City close to finalising Phil Foden contract extension,” he explained.

As perhaps best summed up on Tuesday night, Foden looks set to be an absolutely crucial player for City for years to come.

O atacante Emerson Sheik sofreu um pisão no pé esquerdo e deixou o treino mais cedo. Minutos depois desse choque com Kazim, o veterano de 39 anos tirou a chuteira, conversou com o médico Ivan Grava e foi mancando para a parte interna do CT Joaquim Grava. O jogador, porém, não preocupa para o próximo jogo, contra o Mirassol, na quarta-feira.
