يشهد اليوم السبت الموافق 27-7-2024، مواجهات هامة ومرتقبة على مستوى منافسات أولمبياد باريس 2024، أبرزها مواجهة مصر وأوزبكستان.

وتقام فعاليات أولمبياد باريس خلال الفترة من 26 يوليو الجاري، وحتى يوم 11 أغسطس في مدينة باريس عاصمة فرنسا.

يخوض منتخب مصر الأولمبي مباراة قوية أمام منافسه أوزبكستان، في إطار لقاءات الجولة الثانية من المجموعة الثالثة لـ منافسات كرة القدم بـ أولمبياد باريس 2024.

ويتواجد منتخب مصر في المجموعة الثالثة بـ أولمبياد باريس 2024 بجانب إسبانيا وأوزبكستان وجمهورية الدومنيكان.

وكان منتخب مصر استهل مبارياته بمواجهة الدومينيكان، مساء الأربعاء الماضي في إطار منافسات الجولة الأولى لمنافسات دور المجموعات في أولمبياد باريس 2024، وتعادل سلبيًا.

ويستعد العراق لخوض مباراة مهمة ضد نظيره الأرجنتين، ويسعى أسود الرافدين إلى تحقيق الفوز الثاني على التوالي، ضد منتخب التانجو، من أجل التأهل إلى الدور التالي.

ويستعد منتخب المغرب لخوض مباراته في الجولة الثانية وذلك ضد أوكرانيا، الذي خسر بدوره في الجولة الأولى ضد العراق بهدفين لهدف.

ويأمل أسود الأطلس في تحقيق يفوز ضد أوكرانيا في مباراتهما اليوم من أجل التأهل إلى الدور التالي.

It's no secret that Manchester United have struggled for form this term under Erik ten Hag. However, what has been most surprising is the lack of potency the Red Devils have shown up front.

Rasmus Hojlund is the team's top goalscorer in all competitions with five goals, but in the Premier League, the Denmark international has failed to register a single goal, having missed more big chances than any other player in Europe's top five leagues.

Ten Hag will have to try to get the best out of his £72m man when the January transfer window opens by bringing in a player who can complement his number '9', and the Dutchman seems to have his eye on one in particular.

Jayden Addai to Manchester United

According to Football Transfers, Manchester United sent scouts to a game between AZ Alkmaar and Molde FK in the UEFA Youth League last week to keep an eye on the former's 18-year-old star winger Jayden Addai, who scored the second goal in a 4-3 win for AZ.

Addai has been in fine form this season, having scored ten goals for the Dutch outfit's U21s, including one in Europe and nine in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie, which has attracted interest from the English giants.

The youngster has also found the net 48 times in 96 matches in all competitions for club and country since the beginning of the 2020/21 season, according to Transfermarkt, while playing anywhere across the front three and even as a number '10' at times.

Amid interest from the Red Devils, AZ decided to tie the attacker down to a new five-year deal which keeps Addai at the club until 2028. Man United would now have to pay a heftier price should they want to prise him away from his current side. At the announcement of his contract signing, AZ's technical director Max Huiberts called Addai "a boy with a promising future".

While Addai can play anywhere along the front four, his preferred position at AZ Alkmaar has been on the right wing in a 4-3-3 as he can cut inside on his favoured left foot and let one fly or cross it into the box for a teammate to attack. This worked wonders for the Dutch side last season as they lifted the UEFA Youth League title, the club's first-ever European trophy across any level.

Since the start of the 2022/23 campaign, the teenage sensation has assisted eight goals in all competitions. In comparison, Man United's big-money signing Antony has recorded merely three assists in 56 appearances for the Red Devils. Addai has bagged more goals and assists this season alone than Antony has since moving to Old Trafford.

The duo are quite similar in terms of their styles of play. Both like to take on the opposition's fullback and cut inside on their left foot but Antony's productivity has been questioned at times during his career in a red shirt. Club legend Paul Scholes even called the Brazilian a "one-trick pony" last season.

As such, Hojlund needs a winger who can consistently provide him with opportunities from the flanks. His first goal against Galatasaray a few weeks back was a prime example of this.

Unfortunately, Antony is not supplying the goods thus far to his Danish teammate, averaging just 1.62 crosses per 90 which puts him in the bottom 17% of all wingers in Europe's top five leagues over the past calendar year, according to FBref.

Addai is more selfless than Antony on the right and would offer greater end product to that side for United, which could see Hojlund finally getting some service on a consistent basis in the Premier League.

But he is reluctant to leave Bradford where he has iconic status, and where faith in him has never wavered. He has been with Yorkshire’s age group sides since 10 years old and became the first Yorkshire-born cricketer of Pakistani heritage to represent the county. There would seem to be a natural role for him in the city once his career is completed.Yorkshire have also worked hard to address any misunderstandings, led by the chief executive Mark Arthur and director of cricket Martyn Moxon, with both involved in what appeared to be successful negotiations on Tuesday while Yorkshire played the opening day of their Championship match against Hampshire at Headingley.Differences with the coach Andrew Gale have also been part of the discussions, perhaps belatedly. Wolverhampton Wanderers made an interesting move over the summer as they opted to appoint Gary O'Neil after he was relieved of his duties by another Premier League club.

Bournemouth decided to part ways with the English tactician at the end of the 2022/23 campaign, despite his success in keeping them within the division, and the Old Gold swooped in to secure his services after Julen Lopetegui's departure.

The new head coach has enjoyed a solid start to his tenure at the Molineux and has already masterminded two memorable results for supporters to enjoy.

O'Neil has won four of his opening 12 top-flight matches in charge of the club, and secured incredible victories over reigning champions Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur – both by a scoreline of 2-1.

Wolves have scored 16 goals in those 12 games and are well on course to beat their dismal tally of 31 goals in 38 Premier League outings last term.

The club could, however, look to make further additions to their attack during the upcoming January transfer window, despite their improvement in that area, as Youssoufa Moukoko has been linked with a move to England.

Last month, 90min reported that the Old Gold are one of a number of teams eyeing up a possible swoop to sign the Borussia Dortmund centre-forward at the turn of the year.

The outlet claimed that the Germany international is exploring a potential loan move away from the Bundesliga outfit due to his lack of minutes on the pitch this season.

Sebastien Haller and Niclas Fullkrug have made it difficult for the teenage dynamo to find regular game time at first-team level, which now looks set to open the door for a winter exit.

Premier League sides Wolves and Brentford are said to be keen on the 19-year-old attacker, whilst Lazio, Fiorentina, Lens, and Lyon are also in the running to secure his signature.

90min claimed that Liverpool are long-term admirers of the talented ace but it remains to be seen whether or not they would be interested in a loan deal for him at this moment in time.

O'Neil could, therefore, face stiff competition to land Moukoko's services in January as a number of teams could be competing to sign him on loan.

However, the Dortmund starlet could be a terrific addition to the squad if they are able to win the race as he has the potential to be an upgrade on current Wolves centre-forward Matheus Cunha, who has had a difficult year in England since his move to the club in January.

The Brazil international was initially signed on loan from Spanish side Atletico Madrid at the start of the year in a deal that was pre-agreed to become a permanent one in the summer.

This meant that Wolves signed him permanently for a reported club-record fee of £43m at the end of the 2022/23 campaign, which came after a tough first five months at the club.

Cunha did not hit the ground running in English football as he struggled to make an impact at the top end of the pitch during the second half of last season.

The right-footed attacker scored two goals in 17 Premier League appearances, which included 12 starts, and scored from just one of his 18 shots within the penalty area.

He did not make up for his lack of goalscoring with creativity as the 24-year-old forward made 0.4 key passes per game and created one 'big chance' for his teammates in those 17 outings.

The Brazilian gem has enjoyed an improvement in that area this season with 0.9 key passes per match and three 'big chances' created for his fellow attackers across 12 top-flight starts for O'Neil.

However, Cunha has continued to struggle in front of goal with just two league strikes in 12 appearances. He is not able to blame his teammates for a lack of service as the Wolves striker has amassed 3.15 xG and missed three 'big chances'.

This shows that the former Atletico prospect has been wasteful with his shooting and has not been a reliable option at the top end of the pitch for the Old Gold.

Therefore, O'Neil could improve his team by bringing in a number nine who could provide more consistent quality in the final third, which is what Moukoko has the potential to do if they are able to sign him on loan from Dortmund during the January transfer window.

The £51k-per-week hotshot burst onto the scene for his club at youth level with a phenomenal record of 90 goals and 16 assists in 56 U17 matches.

He followed that up with a stunning 47 goals and ten assists in 25 U19 outings for the German giants and that form elevated him to first-team football.

To date, Moukoko has scored 14 goals and provided eight assists in 83 appearances for Dortmund, which includes 13 goals in 63 Bundesliga clashes.

Those numbers do not paint the full picture, though, as the teenage dynamo has often been used as an impact substitute rather than getting regular minutes as a starter.

He has only started 14 Bundesliga matches in his career and contributed with 13 goals and six assists. During the 2022/23 campaign, Moukoko scored seven goals and assisted three in 11 starts for the German side, with five of his 24 shots inside of the box finding the back of the net.

As you can see in the post above, the teenage ace, who talent scout Jacek Kulig also hailed as being "born to score", is a "record-breaker" who has achieved a lot in his short career to date.

Moukoko would arrive with plenty of experience at such a young age and his form for Dortmund last season, and his overall Bundesliga record of goals and assists in comparison to starts, suggests that he could provide more quality than Cunha at the top end of the pitch.

This is why he could be an upgrade on the Brazil international if the young gem is able to adapt to English football and, therefore, be an excellent signing for O'Neil to make in January.

Tamim Iqbal hopes to mark his return to competitive cricket when West Indies tour Bangladesh later this month for a full series. He had originally targeted the second Test against Zimbabwe in Mirpur.Tamim has only now returned to batting against the cricket ball this week, after undergoing rehabilitation for a wrist fracture. Tamim injured himself while batting during the Asia Cup opener in September, a game remembered for his heroic return to bat with one hand, with Bangladesh nine down.”I think I will be fit for the first Test [against West Indies],” Tamim said. “I always wanted to play the second Test against Zimbabwe, at least that was the plan three or four weeks ago. I am not ready. I don’t think the physio will even permit me. It has just been three days of batting against spin bowling and the dog-stick. It is actually semi-batting what I am doing right now. Unless I start full-fledged nets, it won’t be fair for the team to declare myself fit.”Tamim still had some discomfort while playing certain strokes. “Today [Thursday] is probably the third day that I am batting. I haven’t had a full net session. There’s a lot of difference between playing 130-140kph and playing against spin and the dog-stick. As of now, things are looking very positive. In the next three days, there’s going to be a full net session, after which I can tell where I am at.”Batting and net sessions aside, Tamim had words of encouragement for Bangladesh despite their loss in Sylhet. وظهرت خلال الأيام القليلة الماضية، أنباء بوجود عرض من نادي نيوم أحد أندية الدرجة الثانية في الدوري السعودي (دوري يلو)، لضم زيزو بداية من الموسم الجديد.

نادي نيوم السعودي، كان قد نجح في تدعيم صفوفه بالعديد من الصفقات خلال الفترة الحالية يعد أبرزها المدافع المصري أحمد حجازي والبرازيلي رومارينهو لاعب اتحاد جدة.

وقال المصدر لـ”بطولات”: “عرض نادي نيوم السعودي لـ أحمد سيد زيزو يقدر بخمسة ملايين دولار لصالح النادي على دفعتين”.

وأضاف: “إدارة نادي الزمالك ترى أن المبلغ قليل مقارنة بقيمة زيزو الفنية”.

وتابع: “اللاعب عُرض عليه مبلغ خيالي يقارب 3 ملايين دولار سنويًا من جانب النادي السعودي”.

وواصل: “إدارة نادي الزمالك ستجتمع باللاعب ووالده لحسم مصيره في ظل وجود عرض آخر من جانب العربي القطري”.

وأشار المصدر إلى أن الأولوية تظل بالنسبة للزمالك هي الحفاظ على اللاعب وتجديد عقده”.

The West Indies women’s side had a bit of a pep talk from two Caribbean legends leading up to their World T20 semi-final, and that went some way in helping calming the players down ahead of the big game, according to captain Stafanie Taylor.
“It was nice to see Sir Viv and Sir Andy Roberts there,” Taylor said on Wednesday. “They talked to us a bit going into tomorrow’s semi-final. It was really nice to hear some encouraging words. At this stage, there’s a lot of nerves flying around, and it’s good to hear encouraging words to kind of settle that down.”
